Wow, this was a very very special session.

I worked with Keanna and Ben at my first job eight years ago, and the entire time I was taking their photos, I kept thinking “oh right, this is why I loved working with them”.

We climbed up a mountain to where they got engaged, and it just felt like hanging out with friends, and was honestly such a great way to celebrate their engagement!! I promise you that you will not meet people as in love and happy to be getting married as these two.

I think it’s so cool that we were once slicing deli ham (lol) and now they’re getting married AND I get to photograph it!!!!!! Name a better full circle moment.

It’s got me so pumped for next year and dreaming about what it’ll be like!! (Also what better way to end off the year than with a pic of Christa and Tommy!!!!!)

Julia and Nick’s ceremony…wow.

I still get goosebumps when I think about their ceremony. It was such a joyful celebration of two of the best people. The music, the tears, the intention behind every detail was a very powerful thing to witness.

What a gift it is to get to see so many people on one of the happiest days of their lives!!

Christa and Tommy got married two weeks ago and I’m still in awe of the beauty, love and intention of their day. I can’t even put into words how perfect their celebration was.

My heart (and hard drives) are so full and I just can’t believe that the wedding season is over!! I’m sooooooo pumped for 2026.

Every wedding I do is so special to me, but this one takes the cake. Growing up, I loved it when my family would camp in Saskatchewan and we’d get to see the Ramsays. I think it had been over 10 years since I’d been back to their house. It felt so nostalgic being back!!

The whole getting ready process was filled with quiet, joyful anticipation. You could feel the love in the house. That’s what I love about getting ready - everyone is so excited, there are so many happy tears, and it’s the last few calm moments before the wonderful chaos of the day.

What a dream last night with Zaine and Seth!!

When Zaine and I were living together at SAIT, I would drag her out in the middle of winter so that she could be my subject for my different photo assignments and she was the best sport about it. So fun to see each other again and get to take photos once again!!

This is my first thanksgiving weekend without a wedding in a while and honestly, I’m so grateful for the break and to get the time to spend with family.

I’m so grateful this year especially, for all the new people I’ve met and the friendships I’ve made. I’m so excited for the new year and for all of the plans I have, but I’m also just very grateful for right now.

I hope that everyone stuffed themselves with yummy thanksgiving food and that you were able to see the ones you’re grateful for. ❣️🦃🍁
